We are very happy that the portagonist of our film, the artist and human righsts activist Yvonne Bezerra de Mello, is honored with the „European Award for Peace and Civic Commitment.“

The Members of the CITY FOR THE CULTURES OF PEACE „express their great admiration for her vision, her commitment to helping society, and her substantial contributions to the culture of peace in our time. The award is presented to Yvonne at within the context of the Forum on the Cultures of Peace entitled "Personal Engagement in Society and History" in the Senatssaal of the Humboldt-University and in the German Parliamentary Association, on 13 and 14 June 2007.“ . www.peace-culture.org

Our film Warrior Of Light is been shown after the award ceremony on June 13th at 8:30 pm in the Senatssaal of the Humboldt-University in Berlin.

In the USA the DVD of Warrior Of Light about the street kids project „Projeto Uere“ and its founder Yvonne Bezerra de Mello has just been released by New Yorker Films. The DVD consists of the English language version and includes bonus material. www.newyorkerfilms.com
